  • What’s included when I rent a campervan from Gatwick Campers?

    We pack your van with all the essentials, kitchen kit, bedding, insurance, breakdown cover and a full tank of fuel. Think of it as your mobile basecamp for adventure, minus the packing stress.

  • How does pick-up and drop-off work?

    Easy as pie. We’re right near Gatwick Airport, so you can collect and return your van with minimal fuss. We have ample parking for your car, bike or scooter should you need and also positioned close to Horley Train Station for those of you preferring public transport.


    We’ll show you the ropes, hand over the keys, and you’ll be on the road in no time.,

  • Can I take the campervan abroad?

    Yes! European travel is allowed with prior notice. We’ll sort the insurance and paperwork, so you can focus on mapping out the best croissant stops.


    EU Travel may limit the Van that you can rent.

  • What if I’ve never driven or camped in a van before?

    No worries! We love first-timers. You’ll get a full walkthrough before you set off, plus handy tips for driving and living the van life like a pro.

  • Is there a mileage limit on rentals?

    Most of our hires come with generous mileage included. Need more miles for a big road trip? 


    Just let us know, we’ve got flexible options for every kind of journey.

  • How far in advance should I book my campervan?

    Summer and school holidays book up fast so the earlier, the better! 


    We recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance, especially for peak travel times.

  • What happens if something goes wrong on the road?

    Don’t worry help is just a call away. 


    All our vans come with full UK and European breakdown cover. 


    Plus, we’re on hand to guide you through any bumps in the road (literal or otherwise).

  • Can I bring children on the trip?

    Definitely. Our campervans are family-friendly and equipped with everything you need for an unforgettable road trip with the kids. 


    Just let us know if you need child seats or extra space.

  • Do I need to clean the van before returning it?

    We love a clean camper! We ask that you return the van in a tidy condition, rubbish out, dishes washed. 


    Don’t worry about a full valet, though and we’ll handle that part.

  • Is there a minimum hire period?

    Yes, typically our rentals have a 3-night minimum, but during peak seasons that might be a little longer.
